Here we are crossing MacKinnon Pass on one of the best hikes in the world. The clouds were pouring over the gap from the warm side where we hiked in t-shirts to the cold side where jackets were mandatory. You can hike from bunkhouse to bunkhouse and bring your own food; or, as we did hike from lodge to lodge, where the bar and a hot dinner awaited.

That is us on the top of Mackinnon Pass hiking the Milford Track on the south island of New Zealand.
